FAMILIES ON MY DESERTED ISLAND (box above)
Due to CDC guidelines for social distancing and making VBS as safe as possible during the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be staying in consistent small family groups called "Deserted Islanders" throughout the week. Children of the same family will be assigned to a small group with one or two other families that will stay with the same staff member Tour Guide and rotate through the 4 stations we do physically at the church each morning.

We would LOVE your help with putting our groups together. If there is a family at Central you've been in close contact with during quarantine, or a few families you are comfortable with your children being with, please list those names here and we will be sure to put those children all together. If your child plans to bring friends to VBS, or is coming with a Central family, we will definitely put those friends in the same group as your children, but we ask that you list those friends here if you can.

We know this is an additional unfamiliar step, and we appreciate your help as we're trying to do this as safely as possible under the guidance of local pediatricians. We of course can't guarantee that your child won't come in contact with children from other "Islands," and we ask for your grace and patience in this as it is completely new for us as a staff, but we will do our best to keep children in contact with small groups to limit the possible spread of germs.
